The Approach

At COP28, world leaders and delegates had long made climate pledges that too often stayed on paper, promises without presence. The idea for this campaign was born from a simple but powerful question: What if we could give Mother Nature a voice?
If people could feel like they were speaking with her, hear her respond, would they finally act? And how could we use technology to allow a conversation take place like never before.

The Idea — The Tree of Life

The Tree of Life was an AI-powered, interactive installation that invited delegates to make a personal commitment directly to “Mother Nature.”
Created by INVNT and [Alt Enter], the installation stood as a central icon of COP28 — a towering Ghaf tree surrounded by touch screens that brought environmental themes to life through AI dialogue, sound, and light.

Each interaction educated, inspired, and challenged participants to reflect on their role in shaping a sustainable future — transforming abstract pledges into emotional, human connections with the planet itself.
